Welcome. I’m glad you’re here. My own lifelong healing journey has had many twists and turns, many discoveries that have led me to this present space. I created my practice because it brings me joy, fulfillment and a sense of purpose helping another person feel better than they may be feeling otherwise.
As a young girl, I dreamed of being a doctor or teacher, world traveler in service with The Red Cross, working with animals, a professional athlete or even a musician. My curiosities were vast and my thirst for adventure motivating. The desire to make a difference has been the undertow in where I find myself today. The course I set from an early age allowed many diverse opportunities for personal growth and healing.
One of the defining moments in my journey occurred in 2012 when I traveled to Uganda, Africa where I served as a field volunteer for the non-profit “Hope for Humans.” The organization offers treatment and aide to children in Northern Uganda who are affected with an incurable child-killing disease known as “Nodding Syndrome.”
I connected immediately with three young children – Allan, Fiona and Denis, experiencing a particularly profound connection with Allan. Not long after we first arrived in Odek Village, Allan, who I had known only from photos prior to our journey, purposefully made his way over to me in what appeared to be a daze, staring right into my eyes, seemingly looking into my soul. He took my finger and began leading me around the grounds of the area.
After about an hour of wandering, he took me to sit under the shade cover where the other Acholi parents and children were gathered. Unable to speak, Allan sat, Indian-style, head slightly tilted up, his face expressionless, quietly gazing at me while never letting go of my finger.
The incredibly emotional, deeply heart felt human connection I experienced with this little boy rocked me to the core. It was in this moment where my soul’s calling became louder and stronger. I had moved into awareness of how transformative and important human connection is to mind-body-spirit wellness.
Another defining moment was in September 2020 while at the bedside of my stepfather Jim during his passing. Jim lived many years with a devastating muscle-wasting disease and never once complained. From the time I had known Jim, he was always studying different varieties of philosophy, theology, theosophy as well as many spiritual teachings. He believed that his disease was part of his human journey and an opportunity to attain spiritual consciousness. I recall him saying on several occasions that his goal was to learn to die consciously, knowing God.
Well, he did just that.
Being with Jim in the last few hours of his life, although heartbreaking, was at the same time incredibly profound and beautiful. It was in the echo of Jim’s last words where I witnessed the pureness of his being, his Divinity and the God within... “Our purpose here is to establish our individualization through truth, beauty and goodness. That is all. That is, Love.
Love is who we are…
I love you.”
It was through this experience and in the gift of Jim’s words where I became dedicated to living an authentic, purposeful life in service to others.
My journey continues today with the addition of extensive work in the field of Spiritual Psychology through programs at the University of Santa Monica. Using the practices and principles of USM in my daily life I’ve found clarity
of intention; to deepen my awareness, understanding, and ability to live and work inside the spiritual context, focus on the blessings in my life and continue to ask Spirit to help me see,
how I can best serve.
You’ve landed here because of your interest in feeling better. I’m ready to share my wisdom, experience, and healing modalities with you.
Give me a call and let’s explore
how I can be of service.
